Need some prayers for hope in 2022?
We are coming out of a hard two years, so why is it so hard to find hope? Many of us have bounced back from the pandemic and are thriving. For others, we are still trying to grasp for pieces of hope here and there.
For this reason, we wanted to make a list of prayers for faith and hope written by people all over the world in 2022.
General prayers for hope
Heavenly Father, Your Word teaches a lot about hope. You gave us lots of Scriptures to take with us in all areas of our life. That we can stay strong in our Hope. May we even share these Scriptures with people who are in need. Saved or unsaved. Father, when we’re down we need to put our hope in you. Hope comes from you. “No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.” (Psalms 25:3). You say if we put our hope in you there are gifts of unfailing love and full redemption. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11) But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint “(Isaiah 40:31). Father, you tell us that hope is the ANCHOR of our soul, and hold our hope unswervingly. Also if we hope in you we purify ourselves just as He is pure. You tell us not to put hope in wealth let alone worldly things. But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Your word also tells us that future hope will not be cut off. May people see my hope in you for my hope is in your word. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13). As time carries on we can have “GREAT HOPE” in your blessed return. Father please be with me and give me that SOLID HOPE that is written in your word in my times of need. Prayer for the weary traveler
Lord, build up these weak legs when the journey is long, and I start to stumble.
Lord, lift up this droopy head when I cannot see the next step and begin to falter.
Let me lean into you for strength, support, and sustenance on the journey.
Lord, heighten my senses when I face detours, roadblocks, and valleys.
Lord, increase my understanding when your path does not make sense.
Give me the grace to take the road less traveled.
Assure me of the eternal hope that awaits in glory.

Prayers for hope when the battle is raging and life is rough
Father God, I come to you as Your righteous child knowing that You are my only hope for living life. You promised You would never leave me nor forsake me. Father some days are difficult to navigate with all the thoughts racing through my mind. But I know you are there to release me from this bondage as I surrender them to You. You said to cast all my cares upon You so I choose to do that knowing You will give me peace as I walk through to victory. Help me to keep my eyes on you moment by moment In Your Precious Name, Amen.

Father, with boldness, we come before your throne to receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need. We are asking for grace to hope in you and your word in these turbulent times; because hope in you does not disappoint, keep us focused on you, not looking at our circumstances, not being moved by what we see, feel or hear, believing that you are able to see us through.
We are confident that when we pray and believe, you will grant us what we asked for. Prayer of hope for the broken-hearted
My prayer of hope is for the broken-hearted. The ones that feel abandoned and isolated. Prayers for the brokenness within families. Families that no longer speak to one another. Hope to grandparents that are missing their grandchildren and grandchildren that miss their grandparents. Praying for family restoration in all ways. Prayer for the softening of hearts, that hearts of stone would soften to hearts of flesh. Prayers for hope for healing, when there just doesn’t seem to be anything left to do. That closed hearts would open and deaf ears would hear, and forgiveness would flow. Deep emotional wounds would be healed, in Jesus’s name.

1. Pick your favorite Bible verse and turn it into a prayer!
2. Create a collection of prayers for hope and print them out to have whenever you feel like you are losing hope.
3. Start tracking your answered prayers. Turn them into prayers of thanksgiving and reminders when you pray a prayer of hope.
