Give out grace today
God constantly showers us with His undeserved favor, but our natural tendency isn’t to extend that same grace to others.
We withhold forgiveness for those who have hurt us, those undeserving of kindness, and hold grudges instead.
But as disciples of Christ, we should follow His lead and love the unlovely, and forgive the unforgiveable, because that is exactly how God treats us.
Jesus said to love your enemies, do good to them who hate you, bless those that curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you. Instead of rendering evil for evil, He said to turn the other cheek. (Luke 6:27-36)
Luke 6:31 KJV – And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
These bible verses about grace inspire us to give out the grace God freely gives us.
Grace is undeserved and unexpected. When we choose to be compassionate and kind instead of critical and bitter, we shine the light of Christ and bring God the glory He deserves.
But we can’t do it in our own power. We need the help of the Holy Spirit, which is just a prayer away!
Let’s follow the golden rule, apply the bible verses about grace, and bless someone with kindness today!
