Praying, praising, and giving thanks with morning blessings is not a recent phenomenon. We find the practice of morning blessings in the Jewish faith of Jesus’ time. They began as soon as they were getting up and ready for their day. A few examples of morning blessings were thankfulness for all God had provided, the power of discernment, and His guidance and strength.
