Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)
Questions to think about/pray through for your January 6 Prayer
- Read through Ephesians 1:1-15. If you highlight in your Bible, highlight every blessing Paul writes between verses 1-15. What stood out to you the most?
- Think of all the blessings you are hoping to receive this year. Go through one at a time- do they match spiritual blessings in Christ?
- Pick one spiritual blessing that you can be praying for this year. Write it down to pray over daily.
January 6 Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, May I remember to praise you the way that Paul did at the beginning of Ephesians! May my praise flow out to You just as much as Your blessings pour out to me. Help me today to be on the lookout for the blessings upon blessings that are overflowing in my life, and allow me to sit and meditate in gratitude for who You are and what You do. Amen.
