Bible verse for March 26

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him,” (Nahum 1:7)

Prayer Reflections for March 26

Lately, my 5-year-old has been obsessed with the story “The Three Little Pigs.” We read it over and over again. She giggles every time the first and the second houses get destroyed because they weren’t strong enough.

It’s a reminder though that not all houses are built the same. Just like all houses aren’t built the same, neither are refuges. Sometimes we attempt to take refuge from parts of our lives in places not so strong.

However, God is the ultimate refuge. The Bible verse we have today follows six verses talking about God’s power and force. After this, it says that even though He is all powerful, He is good. He is our refuge. The ultimate refuge, one that cannot be blown down no matter what.

How can you make God your refuge today?

Prayer for March 26

Dear Lord, We praise you for being our ultimate refuge in life. You care for those who trust in You, help us turn to you in times of trouble. Amen!
