Bible verse for February 12

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26)

Prayer Reflections for February 12

“When my skin sags and my bones get brittle, God is rock-firm and faithful.”

This is the Message version of Psalm 73:26. What a contrast it is- brittle bones verses rock-firm.

We often forget that we cannot rely on our health until we are reminded by health troubles or even a health scare. As hard as it is, we don’t know how many healthy days we get on this earth.

But we know how many days God will be faithful. There is nothing else in this life that we can one hundred percent trust in. Even all the things that seem stable could disappear, but God is stable forever.

What are some things in life that you may be taking for granted today?

List some characteristics of God that never change.

February 12 Prayer

Dear God, thank you for being the God of yesterday, today, and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8.) Thank you for your never changing, always unfailing love for us no matter what. Amen!
