Bible verse for February 15
“Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” (Mark 6:31)
Prayer Reflections for February 15
- Where is your quiet place to go to? Do you have a designated spot, or do you constantly seek different quiet places? (There is no wrong answer to this, this is simply to reflect upon if you retreat to quiet places like Jesus did.)
- In a world that is increasingly becoming busier, how can you make sure to retreat to a quiet place to talk to God, even if the world around you doesn’t stop?
February 15 Prayer
Dear Lord, in Jesus’ time people were constantly seeking Him. He was interrupted wherever He went, and He always stopped to be with people. Yet Jesus also made sure to go to quiet places too so He could talk with God. Help me live in that example and retreat to resting in You, even when the world around me is busy and chaotic. Amen.
