Bible verse for January 24 Prayer

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)

Questions for your January 24 Prayer

  1. When we are truly hungry, we are not satisfied until we eat. It is the same way when we are incredibly thirsty. In this verse, Jesus is saying those who are not satisfied unless they are seeking righteousness will be blessed. What do you think your mind is currently having hunger and thirst for? How could that be changed to seeking righteousness as your main hunger and thirst instead?
  2. Take a moment to imagine how you would feel if everything in your mind was made right. That is what Heaven is like. Everything is righteous in Heaven. How can you seek the Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth?

January 24 Prayer

Dear Lord, Help me seek your kingdom when I am still here on Earth. Help me hunger and thirst for your righteousness and to walk in your ways, attempting to love perfectly as you love perfectly. Amen.
