Bible verse for January 9 Prayer

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. (3 John 1:2)

Questions to think about/pray through for your January 9 Prayer

  1. Third John was written (most likely) by John to a friend named Gaius. He prays for good health for Gaius, and compares it to his soul being well. What would your physical body look like if your physical health reflected your spiritual health today?
  2. What is one way you want to improve your “spiritual health” this year?
  3. Write down three straightforward ways to improve spiritual health this upcoming year. Keep them posted so you can easily see it.

January 9 Prayer

Dear Lord, my soul longs for you. You are in me, and I am grateful. Help me to walk alongside you with your will and your way, even when the world makes that extra challenging. Help me to always put you first, Amen.
