Bible verse for March 15
And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant. (Exodus 14:31)
Prayer Reflections for March 15
Sometimes I can’t help but wish I could have been there at the parting of the Red Sea. Or the first Passover. To see God’s power in action, without any effort on God’s part…that must have been jaw-dropping. I can see why the people then put their fear in God.
Someone once asked our Pray With Confidence team why miracles don’t happen anymore today. We don’t see seas being parted anymore.
While I am a big believer that miracles like this still do happen throughout the world, I am also a believer that once we were able to invite the Holy Spirit into our hearts and into our lives, it gave us the ability to see miracles in action on a personal level.
Think about in. In the Old Testament, we see miracles happening to the community at large. This is because God was guiding His promised people, the Israelites, to the Promised Land. When Jesus came along, we start witnessing miracles on a personal level. First, Jesus was healing people everywhere He went. Then, He gave the same power to the disciples. After that, He left the power of the Holy Spirit with the instructions to go make disciples of all nations.
Now, we can pray boldly for anyone and watch miracles happen. We can be part of the miracle process. We don’t have to witness miracles, we can be a part of them. How amazing is that!

March 15 Prayer
Dear Lord, I used to wish I could have been there to see the Red Sea parted, and other large miracles you performed in the Old Testament. I’m now reminded that with the Holy Spirit in me, I can pray for and see miracles happen every day. Help me never stop believing in the power of prayer! Amen.
