The devil has three missions according to John 10:10 (to steal, kill and destroy). He is against unity and peace in families that is why he is constantly attacking homes.
Have you ever wondered why the rate of divorce and separation is high today? We need me and you to stand in gap for our families. The Bible says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but strong and mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. We need intercessors for our families to win.
Our families are exposed to different elements in this world that could threaten their peace of mind. The world is very chaotic and very unpredictable. There is a rise in fear and anxiety. As children of God we are encouraged by the word of God.
John 16:33 affirms that we are overcomers.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
In John 14:27 we are encouraged by the peace the Christ Jesus has given us! Ours is to activate it by praying and not being fearful.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
Jesus cares for us, let’s cast all our burden unto him…Intercessors let’s pray for our families!

We are going to use scriptures in the prayers for peace in the family. I want you to declare this prayer with all boldness and trust God completely in your heart to grant speedy answers to them.
Psalm 136:1
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.”
Begin to thank God over every member of your family, thank him for his mercy and love towards them.
Psalm 119:165
“Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.”
Lord let my family love your law, your words and ordinances in Jesus name. Help my family to walk with you in holiness and righteousness in Jesus name.
Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord begin to touch my spouse, children, brothers, sisters etc. heart, please Lord take away every anxious thought. Lord you said we should make our request known to you, I ask that you begin to speak peace into their hearts, your peace o Lord that passes all understanding let them begin to feel it now in their hearts and minds in Jesus name. I speak to every form of worry, anxiety, challenges! Peace be still in Jesus name.
Proverbs 16:7
“When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them.”
Let the ways of my family please you o Lord! Help my family to walk in your ways. I pray for family members that are yet to know you oh Lord, please by your mercy today let them have an encounter with you today. Cause all men to be at peace with us in the name of Jesus.
Psalm 29:11
“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”
Lord God I know that peace is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, please bless my family with the gift of peace in all areas of our lives in Jesus name. Let the peace of God in our lives influence all those that comes in contact with us.
Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Help every member of my family to remain steadfast in their walk with you oh Lord, help us not to fall, help us not to stumble, help us not to look back from serving you in Jesus name. I come against Luke warmness in my family in Jesus name. Continue to keep us in your perfect peace oh Lord!
Romans 15:13
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Help us to trust you completely in my family in Jesus name. Let the power of the Holy Spirit be evident in our lives in Jesus name.
Almighty God we thank you for all the prayers we’ve laid before you regarding our families, we decree and declare that they are answered in Jesus mighty name. We raise a standard against every scheme and plot of the enemy over our families in Jesus. Thank you Jesus for peace in our families (Amen).
