Bible verse for February 6
“Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, “So I declared on oath in my anger, `They shall never enter my rest. ‘” And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world.” (Hebrews 4:1)
Prayer Reflection & Questions for February 6
This verse was following an explanation about how the Hebrew people missed out on the Promised Land for 40 years for not following God. Yet, this verse is well after that happened and God is promising life for those who believe in Him. How has God’s eternal forgiveness affected your life?
February 6 Prayer
O Merciful God, I thank you for the times you have forgiven me when I didn’t deserve it. Help me honor your forgiveness by striving toward being as free from sin as I can be. Help me grow perfect in love (Matthew 5:48) and use my actions as a thank you for your redeeming love, Amen.
