Losing a family member, especially a dear uncle, is a difficult time that brings a heavy burden to our hearts. The loss of an uncle, who often plays a special role and acts as a role model, leaves a significant loss for the whole family.

1. Prayer for Comfort

Dear Lord, in this time of mourning, we seek Your comforting words. As people pour their deepest sympathies, we reflect on how comforting it is to have the body of Jesus Christ, but that the body understands that they can only provide a little bit of comfort in compare to what you can. Sometimes it is best to simply rest in knowing that God knew this was coming and He is there every step of the way through the process.
