Thursday morning prayers of praise 

If there is any Thursday prayer message we want to send out to the world, it is that our God is a God who is worthy of our praise! 

These prayers of praise will help put us in the right mindset on Thursday morning to remember that no matter what the day brings, our God is a God that is worthy of our praise! 

1. Help us rejoice always, in all parts of our daily activities and daily tasks.
2. “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple”. (Psalm 27:4) Thank you Lord for being my dwelling place!
3. God, I will praise you in your sanctuary. I will praise you in your mighty heavens. I will praise you for your acts of power, and I will praise you for your surpassing greatness. (Psalm 150)
4. Praise be to our God most high, who delivers my enemies into your hand! (Genesis 14:20)
5. “The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.” (Exodus 15:2)
6. Lord; you are the one I praise, you are my God, you have performed great and awesome wonders I have seen with my own eyes! (Deuteronomy 10:21)
7. I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! (Deuteronomy 32:3)

Thursday morning prayers of asking for blessing for a good day 

Maybe your Thursday morning messages are to ask God for blessings. 

1. Dear God, I ask you to bless this day and for it to be everything that you want it to be. Help me remember that I am more than what the previous days were and that the most important things in life come from following you. Help me to always do the right thing in your name, Amen.
2. Lord, please bless this day to bring heavenly wealth instead of earthly wealth without painful toil for it. (Psalm 10:22)
3. God, I know that “blessed is the one that God corrects;” help me be open to your obedience. (Job 5:17)
4. Lord, bless me with your righteousness. Surround me with your favor as a shield. (Psalm 5:12)
5. Lord, please give me strength and bless me with peace today. (Psalm 29:11)

Is there a best good morning prayer?

The best good morning prayer is one from the heart. These prayers are to help guide you, but if you feel yourself just nonchalantly repeating them, put them aside for a bit and come back to it later. God will be there!

Thursday morning prayers when life is hard

Thursday prayers for when I’m nervous or afraid

If you need help relieving anxiety, or are looking for the mercy of God and the light of God when nervous, try these go-to prayers. May we pray in the name of the Lord to remove those fears.

1. Help me to keep coming to you Lord instead of seeking things of the world to help with my anxiety. “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline”. (2 Timothy 1:7) Help me remove the spirit of timidity today!
2. “The Lord is with me, I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (Psalm 118:6)
3. Lord, you are a great father. The fact that you are a righteous father gives me a peace of mind. With your great love you create beautiful things, even in the midst of my anxiety.  Thank you for being an almighty God, Amen!
4. Father God, I will not fear, for you are with me, I will not be dismayed for you are my God. Please strengthen me and help me. Please uphold me with your righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10) In the name of Jesus, Amen.
5. Lord Jesus, help me to cast all my anxiety on you because I know how you care for me, Amen! (1 Peter 5:7)
6. My God, help me to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with great Thanksgiving, help me present my requests to you. Amen. (Philippians 4:6)

Thursday thankfulness prayers 

When thinking about Thursday prayer messages, I am reminded how important it is to be thankful.

1. On this blessed Thursday, I ask Christ Jesus to remind me that everyday is a special day because it is filled with God’s blessings. Make this morning a blessed morning by the work of your hands, that I may glorify you, Amen.
2. Dear Father, I thank you for this wonderful Thursday. May the peace of God overwhelm me and remind me all the Lord’s blessings and remind me to do my best today. Amen.
3. Lord God, I will praise your name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. (Psalm 69:30)
